OUR SERVICES
Eye Examinations
During a comprehensive eye exam, our doctor looks at the overall health of the eye including the front of the eye, the back of the eye, and the optic nerve. A dilated eye exam to further evaluate for eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, and ocular manifestations from systemic diseases including diabetes and hypertension is recommended based on the patient's risk factors. She also performs a detailed analysis of the patient's refractive error in order to determine the most accurate prescription for corrective lenses.
In addition, our doctor coordinates consultation referrals to other specialty clinics for patients who may require more extensive testing, medical treatment and/or surgery. She also comanages patients that require an annual dilated eye exam for the monitoring of diabetic retinopathies with their primary care physicians.

Our doctor also performs problem-based therapeutic eye exams for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic eye conditions, such as dry eyes, allergic conjunctivitis, pink eyes, styes, eye infections, corneal abrasions, and foreign body of the cornea or conjunctiva.
Contact Lenses
At Fort Lee Vision, we carry a wide selection of diagnostic fitting sets so that our doctor is able to custom fit her patients having various prescription powers. During the exam, she will briefly discuss with each patient about their visual needs based on their lifestyle and will recommend the best type of brand and wearing modality such as dailies or extended wear lenses. After she conducts a careful and detailed analysis of the refractive error, most patients are able to walk out of the exam room wearing the most appropriate contact lens brand and prescription on the same day. A one-week trial period is given and patients return for a follow-up visit for our doctor to recheck and confirm that the fitted lenses are satisfactory both vision and comfort wise.

Due to her extensive years of practicing the profession, our doctor is highly proficient in the prescribing of all types of contact lenses including toric (astigmatism), monovision, multifocal lenses, as well as rigid gas permeables (RGP).
